So, you want money. There is no such thing as free money....or is there? The government does not give you money to start a business, or do they?

What do you know about government programs? What you see on tv or infomercials telling you that the government is giving you free money. Well, I hate to break it to you but there is a hint of truth about the government and money.

How can you get money from the government for your business? Through the much talked about grants but you must submit a proposal to do work to get funding. There is more!! Yes, the government can give you money to conduct research, to build a product or work on something that will benefit the country at large. Sorry to burst it to you but it is true.

The government through vehicles called a SBIRs/STTRs* will support businesses for a determined period of time, if your proposed idea is selected for funding. You can also win money from the government.
